Communication
Please inform the school immediately of any changes in telephone numbers and/or addresses. In the event that
significant change occurs in your home, please notify the school immediately. All information will be regarded as
confidential. Children are often unable to verbalize what is upsetting them and may exhibit unusual behavior. This
information will enable her teacher to help her cope. Your child's teacher will also keep you informed of any
significant changes in the school environment which may affect your child. Communication should always be open.
Telephone Calls/Correspondence
School telephone calls and correspondence will be handled through the school office only. Please call during the
morning hours, if necessary, and limit afternoon calls to emergencies. If you wish to talk with a teacher and cannot
call the office, send a note to school with your child. Your child's teacher will contact you after school hours.

Observation/Conferences
We strongly urge you to unobtrusively observe your child at work in the classroom before conference dates.
Conferences are held in the fall and spring. Check your school calendar for exact dates. All observation
appointments and conference times must be made through the school office.
