Medical Information

Illness
A child who appears ill upon arrival at school will not be admitted. If a child becomes ill at school he will be supervised and isolated from the other children. The parents or other persons listed on the Release Form will be immediately contacted to make arrangements for the pick up of the child.

Any child who is too ill to participate in indoor or outdoor activities should be kept at home. Please notify the office if your child has been contagious. We can then notify other parents whose children may have been exposed.

Medication
All medication must be delivered personally by the parent to a staff member. All medicine must be in the original container. A Signed Authorization For Dispensing Medication Form must be completed and turned in with each medication. Prescription medicine must be labeled with the child's name, the name of the medicine, date and physician's name. Non-prescription medicine must be labeled with the child's name and date brought to school.
