Philosophy

Learning is a dynamic process in which the whole personality of the child must be engaged. The child is encouraged to make choices. The following areas become naturally incorporated into his being; a development of inner peace, a healthy attitude toward others, freedom, within limits, the responsibility to effect change, and the consciousness of their environment.

The Montessori classroom is a community of children discovering and developing at their own level. The Montessori materials have an open-ended exploration with room for the child's expression.

"The child should love everything that he learns for his mental and emotional growths are linked. Whatever is presented to him must be made beautiful and clear."
